I’ve run an accounting firm and spent ten years building accounting software. I built SOMOM for my own firm to make the work faster.

I’ve spent years improving how accounting gets done. Now I’m changing what it asks of you.

Buy the software. Pay someone to operate it. Send the records. Wait for the numbers.

I know that routine from the inside. I’m building SOMOM to end it.

Send SOMOM your invoices, receipts and bank statements, just as you would to your accountant. I’m building it to prepare your books and explain your numbers as those records arrive. One service, without separate software and routine bookkeeping bills.

We will make the numbers speak. You can be busier and still make less. The detail inside your invoices can explain why. I want SOMOM to help you see what you hadn’t noticed—and let you ask the next question.

Your bank and your books shouldn’t be another evening lost. SOMOM should do the matching and explain what differs or still needs resolving.

The smallest business deserves to understand its numbers. Accounting knowledge and the cost of getting help should not stand in the way. That’s why we’re building SOMOM with free accounting for businesses with fewer than 250 transactions per financial year, paid plans as they grow, and qualified tax services priced separately.

Accounting expertise defines the method. AI interprets the evidence. SOMOM’s own ledger preserves the books and their correction history. My taste shapes how it feels to use.

A friendly answer is worthless if the books are wrong.

Talk to SOMOM as you would your accountant: ask, explain, request a report or correct a mistake. One conversation, with results you can check. It should use your records and relevant saved answers, asking one necessary question at a time. Working out the accounting is SOMOM’s responsibility. Payments and filings need their own authorisation. Accepted facts and corrections should inform what comes next.
